Jaipur: A resolution on the Gujjar-government talks seems close at sight.

A 21-member Gujjar delegation will hold a third round of talks with the Rajasthan government today.

In a late night development, Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla has agreed to send the delegation to hold talks with the state ministers.

Col Bainsla though will not be present during the talks.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reviewed the law and order situation and expressed satisfaction on the second round of talks.

Sources say should today's talk go of well, Bainsla may come to the state capital on Saturday.

Gujjar protesters have lifted most of the road and rail blocks.

Earlier in the day, agitating Gujjars, demanding five per cent quota in state jobs, held second round of talks with the government after which the two sides said the negotiations were moving in a positive direction.

"The meeting was held amicably and the community is ready for next round of talks. We have requested all of our public representatives including MP Sachin Pilot and state minister Jitendra Singh to discuss the issue with the community here, and then a collective decision will be taken regarding the time and venue of the next meeting," Roop Singh, a close aide of Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla, had said.
