31 firms summoned in connection with 2G scam

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have submitted their status reports on the massive 2G spectrum scam to the Supreme Court.

31 firms have been summoned in connection with the scam, the Enforcement Directorate informed the court.

The Enforcement Directorate's report also states that it has uncovered large-scale violations of foreign exchange laws, money laundering (hawala) and forgery.
