First Look: Steamy horror movie 'Ragini MMS'

Ekta Kapoor's 'Ragini MMS' promises to explore sexuality in the backdrop of some seriously spooky goings on as a couple gets away to rejuvenate their sex lives. The story line may sound familiar to 'Paranormal Activity' but makers of the film have denied that 'Ragini MMS' has anything to do with the Hollywood blockbuster.

Producer Ekta Kapoor plans to re-shoot two love-making scenes in Ragini MMS to make them steamier. The bilingual film is shot simultaneously in both Telugu and Hindi. 

Having viewed the rushes of the film, which releases on Friday, May 13, Ekta was of the opinion that there was reason for the scenes to be steamier, as they are integral to the paranormal happenings in the story.

The film stars Rajkumar (last seen in the controversial bare-butt sex scene in Love Sex Aur Dhokha) and Kainaz Motivala (who played Tanya in Wake Up Sid). 

Rajkumar and Motivala have been asked to re-shoot some intimate on-screen moments on April 3.

Ekta Kapoor said there was no intention to titillate the audience in the film. But she didn't want the chemistry between the actors to look contrived. 

Ekta Kapoor said the relationship between a beautiful Mumbai girl and an aggressive North-Indian boy needed to look believable and authentic in the film.
