'Khloe and Lamar': What did you think of the latest Kardashian spin-off?
In case you're counting, the Kardashian family has now starred in four reality shows: "Keepin' Up with the Kardashians," "Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami," "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," and, beginning tonight, "Khloe & Lamar."
Are they trying for a record?
"Khloe and Lamar" explores the Khloe Kardashian's marriage with LA Laker Lamar Odom -- and the various complications involved with a marriage between a celebrity and a pro athlete.
In the premiere episode, we're introduced to the people in their life. We meet Lamar's BFF Jamie Sangouthai and Khloe's friend Malika Haqq, who we know from the various other Kardashian series. Of course, Khloe's brother Rob makes appearances as well -- when he moves in with the Odoms, things get complicated.
The episode took an emotional turn when Lamar's father surprised Khloe at a book signing. Thinking she was setting up a fun surprise, Khloe invited Joe to a Lakers game to watch his son play. Unfortunately, things turned ugly when, in a phone call, Lamar demonstrated that Joe's intentions weren't exactly paternal... he just needed cash.
