The Mumbai underworld has for long been a hot favourite theme in Bollywood. The latest in the genre is the forthcoming Bhindi Baazaar Inc.

The film revolves around gangs of Mumbai who have embraced pickpocketing as an art and a means of earning a livelihood.

Bhindi Baazaar Inc. is the story of a pawn and his calculated moves to reach the other end of the chessboard.

Revolving around vicious crime syndicates, the film starts with a game of chess being played between two characters; Shroff and Darzi.

The film highlights the ambitious and planned moves of a pawn to reach the other end of the board.

Every move in the game of chess between Shroff and Darzi correlates with life in the outside world and how people are used or killed as the game progresses.

A highlight of the movie is an item number by Caterina Lopez, who also happens to be Jennifer Lopez's cousin.

She flaunts her curves in the raunchy number Taan Ke Seena.

Caterina hopes to do a full-fledged lead role in a Bollywood film.

The film has a number of steamy scenes, portions of which are being selectively leaked to generate interest.

Produced by Karan Arora Bhindi Baazaar Inc. is directed by Ankush Bhatt.

Kapil Gulati has penned the story for the film which has music by Sandeep-Surya and lyrics by Navin Tyagi.

The story is about the quest of a small-time pickpocket Fateh and his ambitions to become a Mamu (local don).

Kay Kay Menon plays the role of Shroff, the big shot at the top of the hierarchy. He has risen from a mere pickpocket to his current position.

Prashant Narayanan is Fateh, the pawn, who aspires to reach the top.

Pawan Malhotra portrays the role of Mamu - the head of the pickpockets from Byculla to Worli Sea.

Gautam is Darzi and is in awe of Fateh.

Shweta Verma is Simran'the simple next-door girl.

Veteran actress Deepti Naval is Bano, Mamu's wife. She is older than her husband and the eldest of 17 siblings.

Vedita Pratap Singh is Shabana, Bano's sister. A femme fatale she has the men dancing to her charms.

Shilpa Shukla is Kanjri, a pickpocket in love with Fateh. It is a one-sided love affair.
