First Look: Tamil director Selva's 25th film 'Naanga'

Five stories, 13 stars: According to reports, Naanga is a romantic movie set in 1985 and 2010.

Tamil film director Selva is known for introducing new talents in his films.

Selva's first film 'Thalaivasal' launched the career of many stars.

'Naanga' has a retro look to it, not to mention some sizzling scenes between its romantic leads.

The film is a combination of five love stories starring 13 newcomers.

The cast includes Sanjay Krishna, Nivas, Munish, Aswin Raja, Zahir, Vinodh, Varun, Virumandi, Uday, Vishnupriya, Shivani, Vaidehi and Arasi.

Kasthuri also has a lead role in the film.

The music is by Balabharathy.

Guru En Aalu and Naan Avanillai 2 are Selva's notable works.

One of the stories in 'Naanga' is about the odd couple Kasthuri and Uday.

Selva made his debut with 'Thalaivasal.'

Filming took place in Tenkasi, Kutralam, Nellai, Pollachi and Coimbatore.

Selva is also the writer for this film.

Music director Balabharathy has worked with Selva in 'Thalaivaasal' and 'Amaravathy'.

The songs have generally received good feedback.

The songs are mostly based on raagas.

Cinematography is by B Balamurugan, lyrics are by Pa Vijay, Annamalai and Eknath.
